Why Join?
MM Youth is designed to inspire and equip students to pursue healthcare pathways—from MD/DO, PA, RN/NP, dentistry, allied health, public health, and biomedical research to AI in medicine and medical technology.
Our objective is to encourage 7th–12th graders to attend college and confidently pursue health and life science degrees while building the professional habits that make great clinicians and innovators.

Get Ahead
Our programming helps you connect classroom learning to real-world healthcare. You’ll explore:
Clinical skills & simulation, Career exposure: Shadowing guidelines, guest physician talks, and near-peer mentoring from medical and graduate students.

Get Involved
MM partners with schools, hospitals, medical schools, and community organizations (e.g., 100 Black Men of Stamford, Village Innovative Project, local AHECs, university pipeline programs) to expand access and build your network.

As a member of Minorities in Medicine’s Pre-College Initiative, you’ll grow your academic, professional, and leadership skills so you can maximize your impact on patients, families, and communities. Membership is available for students in grades 7–12.
