Hello MM students!

Warm greetings everyone,

My name is Amiyah (ah-mee-yuh) and I have recently joined Minorities in Medicine HQ as Chief Community Officer (CCO). However, I am no stranger to MM. I have previously introduced myself in our digital community as a MM alumnus, and now have the privilege to work alongside the wonderful team at HQ to continue our mission of fostering a culturally competent medical workforce.

About Me:

Currently, I am pursuing a Ph.D. in Chemistry at Georgetown University, so you'll usually find me in the lab or nestled up at home with a cup of tea. My involvement with MM began my freshman year of undergraduate at Western Connecticut University, and I intend to continue to spread the MM abundance!

Nevertheless, I am ecstatic to see where this journey will take me and the organization. Additionally, I can't wait to get to know and collaborate with you all.
